Height increase is nominal (0.8 inches, with no change in ground clearance) and is not related to the increase in wheelbase and length (for which there is virtually unanimous agreement that the added length was a very good move to correct the most common complaint of lack of leg room in rear).jsk11ex wrote:For me they killed the EX/QX since they had to raise the vehicle an inch to get that 3 inch length increase (that's what i read anyway, don't know why). This thing already leans like heck in turns, I imagine the new one is more than horrible, and drives more like a suv than a car. Plus the vehicle looks like crap with the larger gap in the wheel wells. They would have had to increase the tire height to fill the extra inch gap, but they didnt. Looks horrible.
Yes, I had that problem during the 2014-15 winter when windchill went low as -50F.Demfer wrote:Looks good AWG, Classy rims.
Anyone run into issues with the driver side locks? After this latest new england freeze I am no longer able to open the drivers side door from the outside. However, I can use the fob to roll down the windows and open from the inside or have the passanger do it. It's the strangest thing. Not sure if I need to replace the whole lock assembly or something got snapped on the outside door handle...
If you do a search under frozen door lock you will see a series of posts in relation to my having the same problem last year.Demfer wrote:Looks good AWG, Classy rims.

I just traded in my 2008 EX35 AWD Journey Premium Package for $12.2k a couple of weeks ago. 63k miles and in excellent condition except that it needed new brakes and likely rotors all the way around and had a small windshield chip. This was negotiated separately from the purchase price of the new car, so I think it's a pretty accurate price for a trade. They wholesaled it off immediately because it was a Midwest car and I'm now in the Pacific Northwest.KBB gives me a ~13k figure for a private sale. Anyone recently sell a similar format EX35? Not sure what levers I have to pull to get the most $$$ since I have taken extremely good care of this beast.
