Well - bought myself an 07 G35X - auto - with the Premium and Technology Packages. Pick it up this Thursday evening and until then the dealer is loaning me an M35. Feel I got a pretty good deal - $700 over invoice. Last on one the lot so no choice in colour - Blue Onyx.

I must say, after test driving the G the Alty now seems like such a boat!

Looking forward to doing my first mod - either a CAI or WAI. Seems to be a pretty divided bunch here on the pros and cons of both. I'll have to do some more searching.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello.

Welcome to NICO!

I also traded my (05) Altima SE-R for an 07 G35X, Ivory Pearl, Auto, Tech and Premium packages in Apr of this year. The Alty was a lot of fun, but also a real handful being FWD, and just not the same class as the G.

Thank you and, I agree, the Alty was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to enjoying some of the creature comforts in the G!

Blue Onyx with Graphite interior. Yep, looking to spend some money on an intake...just have to figure out which to go with.

Picked 'er up last night - incredible. Will post some pics this weekend after I fiddle around with the all of the gadgets.

One thing noticed so far - I wish I had a sixth gear. I loved watching the rpms drop to 2k when shifting into 6th with my Alty.

@85 mph, or 140kms/ph where I live, 5th would be around 3k and 6th would bring me down to just over 2k. 6th makes for better fuel economy and a quieter cabin. Driving home last night I kep waiting my G to shift to 6th then remembered I have the auto. I guess 5 will have to do.

Thank you! I lease my cars (tax advantage for me) so I arranged to have someone take over the lease on my Alty.
