Ok, I have some still out-of-spec toe on the right rear of my S13, car has Suspension technique springs, agx's, etc. Anyhow, it is at 0.45 right now (the max that my bf could adjust it at). I have a set of BF Goodie tires that I want to put on really badly but i can't until this issue is resolved (don't want my tires eaten up).

So my question is this, how good are these eccentric plate spacers from PDM-Racing? Will they solve my problem? Because I reaaaally don't want to spend $230 on Battle Version or Kazama rear toe control arms and have to worry about bearings/etc blah blah. Too much on the wallet.

Any how, here's a pic of them. The stock bolts on my car aren't stripped or anything but they are at max adjustment:

would you rather spend the $230 replacing the tires when the toe is stilllout of spec even after you gave pdm your money?

do it right the first time.

every time I've tried to cheap out of something its just come back...and bit me in the a$$

you know what you want to do, you know how to do it. you know its kindaexpensive...but thats the unfortunate side of caring about things like tire wear.

Um, the question is, whether the eccentric nut spacers will do the job. I couldn't glean from PDM's ad what they exactly do to correct a toe problem. If they won't fix the problem then I will get the rear toe control arms--obviously I will have to. No offense, but you didn't answer my question about the eccentric spacers and I think race-spec/heavy-duty arms should probably be a last resort after all else has failed. This isn't a car that is going to see circuit racing or drifting, it's a daily driver with a toe problem so I want to know if there are cheaper ways to fix it before I spend more $. It's not being cheap, it's being practical.

Those should solve the problem fine. In fact most of the boxes that eccentric bolts/washers come in are labeled with range of adjustment, providing you have a chassis-specific cam.

I decided to put on the cusco toe links. Eccentric bolt with greater range of adjustment does the exact same function and costs less. Two roads to the same hangout.

Thanks Smitty!!!! I knew I'd get a clear-cut answer from either you or Exar since your'e alignment guys. So, how do they work exactly in allowing more adjustment? Since the OEM bolts can only go so far before you start going backwards (how my bf put it).

Also, PDM advertises that you should buy 4 total, two for the toe control arms, and two for the camber adjustment points. I think my camber is fine, it's in-spec and that's all I'm concerned about(the Suspension technques only lowered about 1.3' all around anyway). Snow is in the forecast so I'm going to ship them super-fast so i can get my new tires on!

The subframe is slotted where the bolts go through. The slot is shaped like

...____.....(____)...<--this is the slot...............

The cam is larger and can reach the edge of both sides of the slot that the bolt slides across for adjustment.
