out of curiousity

would a malfunctioning coil or plug throw a CEL...im pretty sure it wont throw a code on the ecu but what about CEL...any thoughts???

I would think so .. Need to look at the code list.When a injector craps out it throws a cel ..That has to be a misfire code of some such.

When an injector or an ignition coil pack goes, you notice a little "muscle car" rumble at idle, you'll also notice the car laboring a little bit at acceleration.

but no code if i read the code list correctly right?i think its time for new coil packs when i change my plugs this weekend
