I was at Fark reading about a shooting at a school in Canada. A few people brought up something about Canadians consuming milk from bags instead of cartons and jugs.

Is this true? What the hell happens if the bag pops?

They actually save money by ripping the udder right off the cow and then labeling it "Sac de lait" instead of actually milking them.

So, lets say you have a bag of milk with your school lunch. How do you set it on the table?

They'll sell you coke in a bag down in Mexico if you don't wish to pay for the bottle. Of course, they give you a straw too.

Wow, now I'm remembering things.

In 1994 I was in Thailand, somewhere near Bangkok. I wanted a Pepsi and I got a bag with a straw. I said to my parents "What do I do with this?" So they bought me a bottle.

It's not foil, it's just plastic. Our school switched to them because they're cheaper and they also had less milk in them then a carton. The best part of the bag is if somebody is eating you can just push on the bag and it squirts all over them.

It's a litre and a half of milk in a bag, there are 3 of these bags in a larger bag. These bags are big and you cannot take it with you or pop a straw and drink it straight from the bag. The milk tastes the same, the bag costs less to break down and recycle than a carton. For portable milk consumption, we still use cartons or mini bottles.

I got some family in Canada and when I first saw "the bag" I too was like wtf along with a chuckle but it's not that bad. You buy it take it home and pour it in a container at home. simple.

I remember milk bags back in kindergraden...

You're drinking your milk, and your straw comes out the bag... your tray then begins to fill with milk as you attempt to find the straw hole...

^very traumatic for kindergardeners
