The new 350Z arrived today! This is the one we've been talking about doing a custom twin turbo setup on in the next few months.

We're all ecstatic about getting Brian's car to play with :cool:And also about being the first in the US to do this conversion!

doing a twin turbo set up? no your not, there was a guy a few months back who had done one maybe like 6 or 7 psi maybe it was twice that... I remember the pic of his car with an intercooler. I think ezcheese or maybe hitman commented about how he should of just done a supercharger, but then the guy responded saying that he was doing tt because he had a sponsor to do it. sorry to be an *** but...PS--I hope I am not just pulling stuff out of my butt, but I believe I did see it on these forums.

Thats cool anyway, how m uch boost are you planning? Are you replacing internals?

here is an RB Powered 350z.. in ATL...

The car is a 2003 Chrome Silver 350z with a RB26DETT (Skyline GTR) motor. Single turbo kit and intake manifold are being made, wiring is being done, and the car will make over 625rwhp and driven on the street daily, and weighing in around 2900lbs.

Thanks to NSANY(ATL) for posting it on TTNet.

its being put on the car and they have a in house dyno. testing should be completed prolly within the month. its always good to see new companies making new products for cars. i wasnt trying to hinder your thought or goals or anything. i just knew of a company stateside that has already started making them. good lukc with your project i cant wait to see it.

geezus man, how much money do these guys have to play w/??? the cars already run 13's if driven right. they have 287hp and a 6speed! damn, the quest for more power is never ending. i don't know where you can actually place these turbos man. they engine bay is pretty much cramped. barely any space behind the firewall. if you do put it in the front it has to sit pretty low. wouldn't it be easier and better to just run a single turbo? btw, i think Greddy already made on in japan but i don't know the specs of it. where do you plan on placing thhese turbos? my best friend has a G35 coupe 6speed, and another 2 other friends have 350z's. 1 touring editon fully loaded and 1 base model "enthusiasts" editon. they all want a turbo too! all of them are bad *** and smoked my other friend's S2000. they're the fastest cars among us besides a SR20DET powered S14 w/ a Greddy turbo, along w/ a long list of mods INCLUDING a stand alone managment system! good luck

It's all good :)I just hadn't found ANYONE willing to tell me they were doing it, or that could show me that it had been done in the states...

If they beat us to it, oh well...We'll just have to do something a little more extreme next ;)
