Hey guys -

We've been toying with the idea of a front entry gutted intake for the Z31, so you dont have to worry about hood clearance and watnot.
Also tried to make it with price in mind as well. Ended up creating this out from the core of a 3rd Gen Maxima plenum.
Gutted maxi plenums have been done before, but we made a few mods to really make this a useful piece.

Should make intercooler piping significantly easier, and offer a nice new look, with less clutter on the top side of the motor.

Comments? Questions? Feel free to post them up here.

I've seen a few of these and they do clean things up and provide more airflow, I always wonderes about doing a complete intake manifold similar to the intakes used on LS V8's of course it would have to be a 100% custom piece but I'm sure could significantly improve the air flow as well as being more compact and easier to package
