Why/how is it not your top priority??

Doesn't appeal to me b/c its not my taste, but just as long as you like it. I had a couple things I wanted to do to my car but I never got around to finishing cuz im pretty lazy heh.... but good job on the grille. How'd you get the mt fuji symbol to stay on?

Looks OK, but I think the grill would be better with obsidian black, not graphite.

Did you paint your wheels to match? Still needs more IMO.

For the price, looks OK, but anyway, nice to see some more modded sedans on here...

1+ for DIY!!!

yeah, i considereed doing the grille black.

it was much easier to match it to the wheels for now. In the pics the wheels are dirty and look darker, lol. I would love to get to drop a bunch of money into this car- but chances are high that if i do it will be performance stuff only.

my C43 is first priority, followed by my very in-depth 1996 Explorer Roadster build, and honestly my Tahoe comes before the G35 (but all i'm doing with that is reliability, repairs, and towing performance)

so far as the emblem- she really wanted me to put the emblem on there (the girlfriend primarily drives it) and it's attached with a real simple custom bracket.

I like the grille! It might look better in another color (or not)... but I like it. Bravo

Welcome to NICO.

My opinions:

The grill and the "skirts" need to be black.

The 17" rims are one of Infiniti's few failures. The factory 18s look great on that car. The 19s are great for performance, but that's it. Tires are too expensive.

I'm not sure if Tinting is something that you need in your area, but it definitely finishes off the windows.

windows are tinted as dark as law allows here at 50%

18s and painting the matte "cladding" are both far out of the budget for now. I do think that with this car i will likely stick with stock wheels forever though- if i'd purchased it new i might have entertained some multi-piece 19s or 20s but can't see spending that kind of $ now on a car that's worth as little as this one.

another "issue" for now is that this car is obviously driven all year and i am doing my best to keep it simple with one set of wheels and tires for as long as possible (i don't want to go into how many sets of AMG wheels i've had here at one time in the past)

thanks for the input!

also, sentient- don't take my responses the wrong way, i definitely agree with your comments, it's just not the place i'm ok with taking this car anytime soon (or ever)

No worries. We all have different plans for our Gs. Some are completely happy with them stock. Others, like myself, have a need for something a little more refined, faster, louder...etc.

To me FI is a complete waste on this car. Others like Jacko would sell a kidney for a Super or TT setup.
