Hey peeps,

Haven't posted in awhile, I know sorry... Been busy at work and all and haven't done anything to the car. But I'm back! Got new Volks also (pics coming soon) but they need to be spaced out a little. Question is:

What is the 'Knurl' size for our studs? I've tried looking everywhere and can't seem to find it. If anyone knows, please help! More than one person would be awesome so we can all confirm.

Thanks!

Knurling is a diamond shaped, grooved surface imparted to pieces for grip or appearance. Studs are not knurled, so I'm not sure what you are asking. If you are asking about the stud threading, they are 12x1.25mm.

Yes but for nissans there's two knurl sizes. 14.30 and 12.80. Wrong knurl size when putting on extended studs will mean improper fitting. Trying to get my studs extended so I need to know... Thx

I think I know what you're talking about. Not the thread, but the actual head of the stud. Check out ichiba. They include extended studs with some of their kits specifically for the altima.

Ok, now I understand what you are referring to. If this is common on most 2000s Nissans then 14.3 mm knurl diameter is the one you want. If you are getting new studs though, can't you just grab a caliper and measure one of your existing ones?
