Im not trying to et into a argument at all. This is a forum so i am simply stating my opinion and discussing subjects from my point of view to anothers which happens to be yours at the moment. I enjoy a bit of the back n forth because you get other peoples opinions and perspective which is sometimes lost.rjdmmfl1 wrote:
I'm not gonna get into a tit for tat on this one, but for the record, the second picture you posted is of a sedan, not a coupe.. and the internals are a bit different between the two. the first picture is of a coupe, but still not from the angles I'm looking at.. but I don't need a picture to illustrate my point.. I've installed 5 sets of bat's GTR headlight overlays, and I know exactly how they should be installed. And, if the owner of the vehicle is like me and wants all of the amber to be covered, then you must bring it back down past the horizontal bit of the hood. This is how I installed mine on my car . I would have preferred to install it the way you are suggesting, but it did not look good from all angles!
Back to the subject...
A. if the owner is happy then thats what matters. (unless you turn your car into rice then you will be ridiculed from the forum to everyone in real life)
B. I still feel the proper install is using the lines of the headlight and hood to make it look proper if not it looks like a bad install.
P.S. I know the 2nd 1 is from a sedan but it shows a proper instill like the coupe above it of bats overlay that covers all of the turn signal without going over the lines.
