better yet, the tag should read "Not for sale to n00b's... In the event of being such, refer to the Nissan Versa"USAF_G35_Guy wrote:......oh great, now in a few years when I wanna get a used one, the insurance is gonna be psycho! cause of the "high wreck probability" it's tag is gonna carry Learn to drive rich spoiled bastards!!! Stick with your M5's or Porsche 911's!!!
That's not a bad idea. Hennesy Motosports (where people bring their weak Vipers in to be made decent) has a deal where the buyer has to go to a day or two of training at a racing school (Skip Barber, I think) before taking the keys.Sentientbydesign wrote:Nissan is going to have to encorporate a GT-R driver's training class into the purchase of every GT-R. Maybe they should do like some of the dog breaders and make the buyer sign a contract that makes them sell the GT-R back to Nissan if they sell it hehehe.
you can probably buy that entire wrecked car for less then $30,000!Focusedintntions wrote:You think if we emailed the salvage yard we could get the brakes and put them on my G?
Because most of us don't have deep enough pockets for a $30,000+ parts car, or a car that you can't get comprehensive or collision insurance on?gwoods wrote:

You can buy a Bently Continental GT for $97,000... the Bently was dearly close to $400,000 when new about 16k miles ago.

I don't know why more of us don't buy salvaged cars....

....even if buying for primary car or track car, and not just for parts....it would still be a PITA to get unless super deep pockets....cause it's just about freakin impossible to get a loan for a salvaged car as well! I've tried a couple of times...and it was just a huge ordeal....or it was just a flat out NO!.....NO LOAN FOR YOU!......damn Loan Nazis! I was actually gonna buy a sweetass 350Z that was already restored to OEM and had a super nice numerous layered and clear coated pearl paint job and nismo kit before my current car....but I couldn't get a loan (and not cause of bad credit) if was just flat out against policy. So if anyone finds out how....let me know! I think if may be different from state to state as well.gwoods wrote:
