other seats fit 1990 Q45

My front seats on my nearly 170k mile Q45 are trashed: severely worn and ripped. the foam underneath is crushed. I have heard that seats from other Infiniti/Nissan cars will fit? Does anyone know any cars in particlar that will fit? Newer Q's, Maxima, I30, J30, etc. often come with leather seats, often black which would match ok.

I would think that any seat up to a 96 would fit yours... there just may be some wiring compatibility issues... so you may need the harness as well.
