Is it just me or do people who are not on this forum like decking out their q's?

TWICE this week i saw a guy with one EXACTLY like mine...1999.5, same colour, same tint, HID's, and he had LED license light like me, and some gorgeous rims at least 20s all chrome.

Today i saw a silver 2001 q with gorgeous 20-22's and get this HE HAD MY TAILLIGHTS! exact same! damn! but they dont look as good as on a black q but they still look great.

A month ago i saw a black one exactly like mine with nice rims and a 2001+ front end conversion>>WHOA

and last weekend an olive green on beige one with really nice chromes and tinted taillights and some sort of huge logo across the back window.

we need to spread the word about this forum. Just imagine the meets in the GTA alone we can get. The R50 platform is becoming a cult classic like jeeps or mustangs surprisingly. I mean, its just another suv right? but somethigna bout the R50's has them being so popular...is it the reliability? the price?

I remember when i was 14 hearing eminem's "rock bottom" and hes talking about ballers driving pathfinders.....i dont get why but i just feel so hood rich in my q.

Considering i saw two escalades for sale the other day for $13-16k......any broke as f*** can roll in style nowadays, and thats AWESOME!!!!

and by the way, the new system i got..LOVE IT. i may not be the fastest guy at the lights, but i sure am the loudest

I've only seen two other pathys/Qs in my city that are modded... A white pathy LE with a 1.5/2" lift and a sandy colour Q with 20's and chrome trim, mirrors, etc.

Maybe people in Winnipeg just aren't enthusiastic about their rides...

that seems to be the norm. just stick on the biggest rims you can and dont give a F about anything else. and when another q owner whose actually passionate gives you compliments on your ride...you do the cool thing and give them a cold shoulder like its just a car....idiots.

How did you take out the yellow glass?? I've been dieing to do this mod for years!" his reply "i dont know, i bought the car like this, sorry"

That's because neither one of us stop and take the time to down some beers and talk shop!

Also doesn't help that every time I decide I'm headed off pavement, my ride starts to make some sort of noise I can't decipher.

Only met one guy in Edmonton who put any effort into his QX4. Mods, rims, tints, sounds, a lot of effort put into it. Also sold me his stock QX4 rims for cheap.

There are a lot of Pathys and the odd QX4 around here, but almost all are stock.

Although mine is not modded by any means. I just got her so im just enjoying it the way it is.

The only thing I've done is install XM radio with Ipod functionality using the factory radio. Did the install by myself. It was nerve wrecking taking apart the dash but I took my time. Now I wouldn't think twice about taking apart the dash.

I've seen quite a few "done up" R50's lately in the GTA as well. Pathfinder's and QX4 have a reputation for quality and reliability. Also they have become very affordable so any Joe can get one.

Nice setup you got there. Did you have to do any modification for the alternator?

Excessive amperage alternator are great. I pick up one for 96 pathfinder. 200 amp direct bolt on.

very clean QX and heck you got my fav deck too the 9835 i wonder how far those horns can be heard...back in gr 11 i worked on this H2 with a air horsn that could be heard over 30miles

i dont think that kind of alt would damage your ecu however you would lose some HP and mileage will suffer as well

All the Qx4's/ Pathfinders i see where i live are driven by Old men(QX4) and soccer moms (Pathfinders). Funny thing is whenever i see a escalade/X5/merc/Qx4 with rims it's always a old man/woman, age group 40-60 range and i laugh my *** off.

Workin over by Schnectady, NY I saw a 2003 pathy with a lift and tires, and a dog, I got all excited was the first lifted pathy I ever saw!.

Then a few weeks later I saw another 99.5 pathy in Palmer, MA, it was pretty sick!

Nope, the sunroof does not get in the way. I did have the OEM overhead dvd, but replaced it with a 10.4" aftermarket screen. I'll try to remember and get pics. If you are really interested, send me an email at [email protected].

Nope. I have had this H/O alt for years already and haven't had any problems. I had a "TRUE" 6000w system before, and it handled it fine.

I had a NICO sticker on my Q in hopes to get people with other Pathfinders / QX4s to question it or take a closer look, but I don't know how effective it was. I agree. . I see a LOT of R50s / WD21s out there that NEED to be on here. Locally, we have a somewhat lifted R50 with nice MT tires and roof rack but I can never get hold of the dude to make him come on here.

I live in a town of about 12k-15k people. I deliver mail, so I am outside on the streets all day long.

I have the only 2001+ QX4 in my entire town. There is one maroon colored 98ish Q that I have seen.

There are a lot of Pathfinders, though. We have a Nissan dealership in town, but the nearest Infiniti dealer is over 100 miles away. It is also the only Infiniti dealership in the entire state of Oregon.

Although mine is stock, I like how it looks with old school alloy wheels on it. My snow tire set up:
