Anything is possible, but why go through the trouble? If you can afford a Z, you can afford a perfectly good Supra. The Supra is a perfectly good car and performs quite well.

A VQ is also a perfectly good motor and for the money spent to make a 2JZ fit into the Z33, you could add plenty of power to the VQ...just seems pointless to me.

IF you're going to do engine swaps...why not a RB26 or Titan motor (the 5.6 litre).

I've seen both. ALso, for the price of a good 2jz, you could get a greddy twin turbo kit or a supercahrger, etc and easily make 400hp. More than enough for the street.
