hey anyone know anything about oldsmobiles...cause right now i have a chrysler concorde, 240 and a oldsmobile...its really just a pile of metal that doesnt work very well, but anyway is it just me or do older oldsmobiles all seem to suck ***?

If it has the Gen I 3.8 liter six, it's bad. But if I recollect right the 88's had the 5 liter V8 (307?) which is still a dog of an engine but not as plagued with trouble as the six.

Either way, yes, most Olds of that era completely suck. I had the unfortunate experience of owning an '84 Cutlass Supreme back in high school. Biggest P.O.S. on the planet.

Well, other than that they're built cheap, suck gas, have no resale value, handle poorly, and are unreliable, they're wonderful cars. I wouln't put a dime into the olds.

trust me i wasnt planning of putting (anymore) money into it, im just tryin to push it onto someone else along with my 1996 concorde...anyone wanna buy it? Runs great, really clean...ask around :o)

You could always donate to charity and take the tax deduction. I'm considering that for my 240sx. Haggling is annoying.

how much of a tax deducation do u think i could get for the POS?
