Has anyone installed any other air intake system beside Fujita?

i know ebay has a number of them. weapon R, aem etc. but im not sure if they would fit the hybrid. even the fujita has to be modified when mounted.

The newest Fujita model doesn't need to be modified...I was tempted to to get the Stillen, but the Fujita was quite a bit cheaper. I'm pretty happy with it...

Just wondering... is the new Fujita you're referring to the SR-2824? I'm thinking about picking this up, and appreciate the input.

Thanks, looks like there aren't too many of us doing work on the NAH just yet. Hopefully that'll change in the future.

BTW, has anyone looked at the Injen? I'm considering the Fujita and Injen, and looking for some additional opinion(s). Stillen has a decent discount going on the Injen right now...

Allin4greeN - did you get the Injen installed? If you did, how do you like it?

Change in plan, I'll be tinkering this weekend. I'll update then.

Well... With fabrication of a new mount and a smaller filter, the Injen might fit...

I wasn't really in the mood to do that much work, though. Oh well, the Injen is going back to Stillen.

WOOT, Fujita letting me send in my 2825 pipe for the 2824 model.

i just uninstalled it, cleaned it, and sent her off. i love Fujita.

So sad though, gonna miss the rumble with the stock airbox

UPDATE:

Fujita came through...For future reference, the Fujita SR-2824 is the model that fits the NAH.

i sent in the pipe Friday (Oct 17th afternoon) via USPS priority, the new pipe came back today, Wednsday, (Oct 22nd).

the pipe now mounts without modding as stated above....Awesome Customer Service Fujita...thanks again.

Has anybody had any check engine lights come up from adding the aftermarket intake? Also have you guys gained any mpg's from adding the intake?

I've had the SES light come one every once in a while. After a reset it wouldn't come on again till I had to pull the NEG cable on the battery to do a wiring mod. A while ago, i had it come on, I reset, then it came on again after a few days. i had the service department check it out. i'm in California and had the voluntary reflash of the ECU. I got that taken care of at the same time. i haven't had a SES light come back since. It's been a few months.

As for MPG gains, probably 1-2, marginal, but it really does depend on driving habits in the NAH.

Sorry to bump an old thread... but for sure, only the 2824 will work? My buddy sold his 2.5s and offering to give me his 2825 to use in my 09 NAH, but I am not sure if it will fit properly...
