Tho I've only had it a few days, i just bought a 2001 Cavalier with 76k miles and the motor is still really good.. I had my friend at the Chevy here check it out since he works on them for a living and he said as long as i keep up maintenance it'll be good well past 100k..

The last few year working at the dealer we had a lot of Impala's come back for warranty work at least 2 times a year some were in the shop for weeks trying to fix problems.
Even the police Impala's weren't immune to some of GM's bugs.
They may have improved quality but I would check some of the Impala's boards to see what type of reliability they are experiencing.
Are you planning to keep your Versa or sell it to get the Impala?Good luck on your search.
