Hey all, long time no post (actually never post).... Used to be on the old 'Yahoo' infiniti owners club poster under the the tag NinetyOneQ45r.

Good to see all the old folks, Q45Tech, jpalm, sopdadope, fxjackso, of course palmerwmd (hey Fred), and all the other old yahoo members.

Traded my 91 Q in for a 2002 Altima 3.5se back in November. Click the link below for a picture.

I'll add to the conversation when I can. I'll probably stay in the Altima/Maxima/I35 areas since the new ones share the same VQ engine.

If you find a cure, let us know!! Once bitten......

(Maxed-out credit cards is my cure :D )

Funny how much the Altima looks like the new Q.... just saw a base model '02 Q today and notice the wheels look the same as the Maxima SE.

Thanks, its faster than my Q already, 6.08s 0-60 (measured with a g-tech).

I really miss the heavy/solid feel of the Q. This car is really light by comparison.

Lack of $$$$ has always been the cure... too bad it doesn't last too long.

The Altima takes a few design cues from the Q for sure... why do you think I bought one... :D

So what is an Unorthodox UDP?

Also, where were these pictures taken in SA? Looks like at the UTSA campus. I lived in SA for 4 years will attending UTSA. My dad still lives there off of Thousand Oaks Blvd.

I miss SA and the riverwalk: d***'s Last Resort has some awesome ribs and "Big A$$ Beers".

Mexican food in Texas is the best too. Now I'm getting home-sick...

after market underdrive pulley. it works by being lighter in weight and a different size so the end result is less power is given to the other belt driven components such as a/c and the altenator.

The Underdrive pulley is good for about 9hp to the wheels and 13 ft lbs of torque.

Have you had any quirks or warranty issues to date? Have heard mixed things about build quality, but hoping it's just isolated incidents.

I bought an early unit and there are a couple of things that the dealer needed to fix, all small. A rattle here, a misaligned console door there. Nothing major. The interior reminds me of the old first gen Qs, all business. No frills. The $$$ went into the suspension and engine.

The car hauls A$$, and looks great.

Check http://www.altimas.net if your thinking of buying one.

Hey Ruben.Good to see you here!

Looks like all the usual suspects are coming here.

For the info of the members, Ruben is the original owner of my current 91 Q.Most of the mods/improvements to the car listed in my signature are to his credit.

really nice guy too.

Fred...:)
