OT question on sellin car?

so heres the deal, my project car has been in the works for the past 2yrs, finally lost interest and gave up. so decided to sell to this kid. sold the car in oct. but i didnt have the title, i bought the car off of a friends ex-business partner. car still needs about 1g worth of work. so hes been waitin this long withought the title, but should be in by this week. the deal was that he would give me 5gs upfront but would still owe me 2gs when he got the title. im really not sure if imma see that money tho now, cuz its been so long. can i threatened him with legal action if he doesnt pay me the money he owes me? for the past month or so hes been leavin me message about payin him back and goin to court, blah blah blah. my question is, is there really anythin he really could do like suein me or sumthin, and is there anythin he could do after everythin like paperwork is done? thnx and give me sum advice on what i should do. peace

lol, him suing you?hahahaha. he has no title. once you get the title you can say, my car was stolen and he will get sent off to jail. So tell the kid to stop making empty threats because he cant do anything with out a title.

Just be like, I want my other 2grand, or you arnt getting the title to the car, and i will be taking the car back soon, and you wont be seeing your money back.

u owe him a title. does the bill of sale sale anythign about the extra money coming with the title? U should have done this a little sooner. I know for a fact you could have gotten a title in less than a week.

well the thing was my friend bought out his business partner, and was jerkin him and me around, it was a project alone gettin it back, and the car was a reconstructed/salvage title, so lets just say it was a huge project.... but no it doesnt say anythin on the bill of sale that states he owes me 2gs.
