I'm riding to Florida for a conference the end of June; my wife is joining me [flying, the wimp *ducks head and looks around*] . . . at the end of it we're going to take a cruise out of Tampa . . . I need a safe cheap place to park the bike -- the cruise line wants $12 a day and I don't want to pay it.

Anyone? Bueller ?

The 750 is kinda tiny for a two-rider long distance road trip. I imagine she'd have one tired rear after hours on that little seat.

I figure I'm going to have one tired rear after the trip. Like an idiot, I'm going to try to do it in three eight-hour days. Meaning ten-hour days. If there's no construction. I don't blame her at all. [Besides, my travel time is "work time"; she's flying in on Saturday]

Then, of course, there's the trip back . . .
