this one guy on ka-t.org seems to be having a problem w/ the same timing chain kit and i'm curious because i have this kit. my motor is almost done and i dont want to start up my car knowing that my timing is F**ck....

the guy said that everything is marked and only started up once and after that it wouldnt start up anymore.

i just want to know if anyone had good result w/ this kit...

One person could be an install or other unrelated problem.

Double check everything you did before you start it up, and you should be okay if it really is OEM spec.

Unfortunately, the KA-T'ers here usually suggest only using OEM Nissan equipment.

Not sure why you'd think this kit would be a problem. I've use the same kit in my motor a few years ago when redo'ing the timing chain & front cover and haven't had a problem since.

sorry man, i'm just paranoid at the moment because one guy dont know his problem and blames it on the chain....i am feeling good since i had a friend tell me that he used it on his ka-t and no problem whatsoever...

honestly i bet many go paranoid after throwing around 3g's into their motor.....so forgive me...
