Osaka jdm motors?

I recently contacted osaka located in japan and im just wondering what kind of experinces you guys have had purchasing an sr from them, they quoted me 1700$ for the redtop and when i asked how much for the blacktop they told me it was the same price, kind of weird?

is that a complete motor set w/ transmission or a front clip... im asuming it's on the motor set b/c thats really cheap

JUST SAY NO..to osaka. They are no good at all. Occasionally, you will hear someone getting a decent motor, but most of those people go hand pick them out. They quote you cheap prices bc they are cheap motors. Rusted camshafts, blown bottom ends, lots of missing parts. I've even heard multiple instances when they'll send the wrong motor, and dont count on them for any kind of customer service either. If you search honda tech you'll find a lot of feedback on them. If you're going to buy from them, I recommend going there personally, otherwise you're taking a big risk from a company who is described as "shady". Just my 2 cents.

has anyone had a good expiernce with them? Im so lost, i need to find a motor and prefer one under 2000$ anyne know what company is good to deal with?

try passwordjdm.com I've heard many good things about them and seen their booths at HIN and other shows. Their list price on a redtop is 2100, they say it's a clip, but I'm not 100 percent sure it is. I'd email or call and double check all the specifics.

JDM Engines in Fort Lauderdale, FL, price for black top S13 is $2200 and that is complete (uncut harness, all sensors, ECU, etc.). All engines/parts are hand picked from Japan, tested and then imported, so no third party dealing. Let me know privately if you are interested, as this is not the right forum for sales.

DO NOT buy from Osaka JDM Motors...i mad that mistake, thought the price was great and everything, and right now im still fighting my car. almost everything on the engine has gone bad, it didnt come with ignitor chip, BOV, IC, intake, and the entire wiring harness was cut to pieces. its been nothing but a pain in the rear, i would not go with one of their engines.
