Os Giken Questions!!!!

I just had my sr taken out of my 240, only to find out that the people that did the install never put in the spec star stage 2 I supplied them.

They must have never removed the transmission from the motor cause there is an OS GIKEN twin plate clutch on it!!!!!!

It seems to be in good shape.

But I have some questions.......

1-Are they rebiuldable?

2-How do you adjust it?

3- How much do they cost new in the US?

If you know any info on it please respond.

ha ha.. that is crazy =)

My buddy Ken has the OS Giken triple plate and he swears by it. He puts down over 700rwhp =)

OS Giken sells a rebuild kit. My buddies at SP carry that stuff in stock usually. Go to sp engineering for more info... ask for Ivan and tell him Nils sent you.

Jesus, you found an OS Giken triple plate? Talk about gold. Jspec is selling a used one for $1400 I believe. That is insane.

Its a TWIN PLATE.

They are rebuilbable, they don't have any real adjustments. They are roughly $1400.00 brand new here in Japan. You lucked out, enjoy it.

So I guess you'll be paying the guys that did your install a visit and getting your other clutch back or some cash.
