hey everyone in the orlando area... heading out to the track at bithlo (orlando speed world) to go run tomorrow, wednesday, at around 7pm. i think it would be cool for anyone in the area to come out and have a nissan/infinity meet of sorts and obviously have the chance to run your car... its only 10 bucks and you can run until around 10:30. see what you can do on the strip, even if your car is as stock as mine :D ill be the 95 240 se, (running 16s hahaha) car #6596, and ill say whats up to any other nissans i see. hope to see you all out there. later.

heh, you're about a week and a half latea couple weekends ago, a group of 240s from central florida and gainesville went out there...there's usually at least one or two that go on fridays though, I probably won't go this weekend since cash will be tight for me for a couple weeks.

Let us know how you do, any mods on your car?

Man if you only would have said something sooner. I just went last Friday:( I'm getting new tires this week and just got back from vacation so i've spent enough money this week, maybe I'll be going again in a few weeks. Anyways let us know what you get, I ran a 16.6/85.2 and a 16.2/86.4 mph, my first 2 runs in my 98 5 speed base model 240sx. Poor driver:) and poor tires i think kept me out of the 15's maybe with your lsd you'll fair better.

Good luck!!!

heh, no post about it...it was one of those things where one of my friends IMd me and said 'hey, going to the track tonight? A bunch of 240s are showing up'

best I've run so far is a 16.5 at some mph I don't recall :)...85 sounds about right...that was with a lot of weight in the back helping me launch. Tried again the next weekend without the tires in the trunk and with only 1/4 tank of gas, didn't do so well...need to practice launching.

I think its pro, I recall seeing .4 r/t's and they weren't red lights.

haha I know what you mean neurovish. I also need to work on my launches. My second run i got a 16.2 at 86 mph or something like that. My R/t and 60' were a disgrace at 1.2(LOL i laught at myself for that):) and a 2.6 or so for 60'.

Hopefully with my new tires and the experience next time around i'll be seeing 15's.:xfingers

on the pro tree right after you reach second stage all 3 yellow lights flash then go to green. so far my fast reaction time on a pro tree is .728 and my fast run so far on motor is a 16.1 but that is with no weight reduction at all

red, if you don't take a nap at the line you'll have a quicker r/t. I generally get distracted by the topless chicks at the track. That'll kill your r/t's too. :thumbup

well saturday was 3rd time I have ever been to a drag strip so I am still learing. I figured .7 was better than the 1.1 I was getting, but hey got to love the topless chicks they got a guy in a camaro ss bad saturday. He pulled up on me while I was doing burn outs I wasn't wanting to race anybody well he pulls up. I laughed because I knew I would pull him off the line but that would be it. Well I pulled him of the line and waited for him to pass me and I waited some more and next thing I see I am almost halfway down the track I glance back see his car sideways and lots of white smoke from tires. My friends started laughing because they thought the guy was playing around to show how fast his car is then my buddy relized that I am far enough down the track and goes holy **** Robbie (me) is going to beat that guy and sho nuff I did and I ran a 16.1 so I bet and SS will it ever happen again

HELL NO

Last week was the first trip to the track with my 240. I ran a 15.8 with subs/amp and my damned heavyass toolbox in my trunk. My first race I absolutely got my clock cleaned by a '69 Chevelle with a BBC. Fun though.

Good luck this weekend.

don't have any of my timeslips near me (I should be able to readily put my hand on three of 'em)...my 60' times with the tires and everything were pretty decent, like 2.4 or so iirc....without all the weight in the back i was getting something like 2.7, 2.8.
