My girlfriend has a 2005 Sentra that needs some service. I am unfamiliar with Nissan specialist in the Orlando, Fl region and am looking for some suggestions. If you could recommend a mechanic that would be great. Thank you for your help.

fuel pressure regulator is available at the dealership..."assy." is an abreviation for assembly meaning fuel pump assembly. like i said before if you are mechaniclly inclined it should take you more than 15-30 minutes to fix it..once the regulator has been installed the initial start will take a few seconds mainly due to the fact that the fuel pressure has been lost. lemme ask you this, is iti more difficult to start like inthe morning or afternoon after it has been sitting for more than an hour or better...if so than i can guarentee its the fuel pressure regulator. there is a nissan technical serivice bulletin on it , i know im a nissan tech...hehe

I appreciate all of your help. The car actually starts great when the engine is cold and hasn't been on for a long period of time. Once it is hot, that is when the issues starts up.

I finally got my hands on a Fuel Pressure Regulator today and made an attempt at installing it. I removed the lower section of the rear seat, unscrewed the three bolts and lifted up the rotary shaped piece of metal and disconnected both of the parts below. Then unscrewed all of the bolts around the circle and got the part ready to lift. Once I lifted the big part carefully I did not see where the Fuel Pressure Regulator was. Some more direction here would be greatly appreciate. Thanks for all of your help.

After taking the care for a drive the Service Engine Soon light came on. If anybody in the area who is decent at turning wrenches and is familiar with getting the Fuel Pressure Regulator installed wants to make a few extra dollars on the side, just let me know. My girl is stressing out now since that light came on. It is not flashing and the car is still driving good.

The Service Engine Soon code is for P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak). I am thinking it is because I didn't tighten up the screws enough maybe. Any instruction would be greatly appreciated.
