I like many others on this section bought the car from a first or second owner. Unfortunately us 1990-1993 Q45 owners never received a key case, all the keys or a original window sticker. Well the latter two are far easier to come by than a original window sticker, although I haven't pulled many strings. For the 1994-1996 Q45 owners there are two Keyless entry remotes and I doubt many second or third owners to the vehicle received those. Infiniti owners in 1990 also received a case that had the owners manual, Bose cassette explaining the radio and how it works and it also held a pen and the service manual. I had a chance to buy it but I let that one go because I was a idiot back then, Still am. :)

How do we get a original window sticker?

Our cars may not be worth much now or as many would want us to believe ever. But I refuse to believe Infiniti first Flagship, one of Infiniti first cars would go down without a fight. Without being recognized for being one of the best cars of its time. Right now I love that my car is not recognized and I don't car if people ever do know what kind of car I own, but I am sure others on here care.

My local dealer refused to give the complete service history with the ID I provided....They said for security reasons...I asked them if they had a salesman who sold a Q45 back in 1990-1996 and they said they have none nor any brochures...Yeah my dealer is worse than useless unless it comes to taking your money....Then they have some sexy women taking your money.

I have the one for Q1... not sure if I got one for Q2, but it isn't in the usual places so I don't think so. Paul, there's no way Infiniti is going to print an old window sticker... haven't you figured out that there's no love for us old timers unless we're buying something new?

$38,350 inflation adjusted to 2009 dollars is $62,156.14.

never confuse "asking" or "list" prices with true actual SOLD prices......the gap can be HUGE {just like in Real Estate}

You do have to admit that they are in great shape though, as far as cosmetics go Qship.

I will see what Infiniti Consumer Affairs says about getting a window sticker. I wonder what people at Barret Jackson or Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance do. I have to admit the Q will never be on the latter but it will most definitely be on the former, Just hope my Q doesn't fall apart from hearing that.

Thanks for posting that Heath.

Rob I want the same one my car came with from the dealer. I don't want one with a different VIN. I keep every receipt except fuel and other smaller items.

At this point, I have collected the following items that are all in new condition:

1) Barry Winfield's Automobile Magazine initial Q45 article at the Q-ship's introduction.

2) Infiniti 1992 "full line" sales brochure.

3) Infiniti full line brochure when only Q45 and M30 coupe and convertible were in the line. circa 1991?

4) Q45 brochure - around 2001.

I've got most of the original paper and all of the instruction books from Bob Moore Infiniti for the 1st owner and ALL sales/contract information from the 2nd owner. All service records from the 2nd owner’s dealer performed maintenance.

I've known about the car and how it has been driven for about 10 years now. This particular Q has yet to have its first door ding. Some car collectors I know have said to prepare the Q for show should not require much work.

Honestly, it is unnerving to drive the Q and leave it unattended on a parking lot – even far from any other cars. At least when a new car catches a ding, there is touch up paint or a way to spot fix. Nothing like that is available for the Q these days or if it was it will most likely be unusable on the pearl finish.

In February (around mid-month), there is a BIG car show in Dallas that is open to all types of cars. My goal is to have the Q ready for that February show.

I appreciate Q-ship's information about the way Q45s were sold in 1991 with all the dealer-installed extras. I will be keeping with the original "gold accented" look. I will need to get the gold Fittipaldi wheels professionally restored.

Additionally I will need to put together some posters (signs) with both HMS Q-ship and Prince Motor Car historical information. For the Q's history, I might be able to get some original paperwork from Bob Moore --- based on the sale date and owner’s name – but it is doubtful at this late date.

I doubt that I will win any contests. I just want to expose the Q to the show circuit for a while to hopefully inform existing or potential owners about the benefits of our club and Q45 quality features.

Some long time car collectors who I know and respect, have stated that for Infiniti products to garner any level of respect like the Europeans currently enjoy, Q45 and M30 coupes/convertibles will need to start appearing in some BIG car shows with lots of people in attendance.

Owner CS You should see if you can find the original 1990-1993 Infiniti Q45 Key Case:

If you look close you can see that it says Infiniti and show the Infiniti Logo (Mt. Fuji).

Maybe get a model of your car in the same color to show off as well.

I've got the leather wallet and all the booklets -- including first owner information. It turns out the second owner knew of the first owner there in TX after I got the car and found the original registration information. Ive known the second owner and the car for about 10 years now.

No cassette tapes though.

Was the tape narrated by someone with a british accent?

That's odd....?? My 92 Q original sticker has a $2000 "Gas Guzzler" tax and this one doesn't. Ohh it's a 90 model. :)

I remember that the 97' model saved the Q from the guzzler tax, it was like 19-24 if I remember correctly and saved the extra guzzler tax.

Not everyone keeps their window sticker, but I have a feeling that the people who buy cars like this do:

I didn't notice the three zero's on the end and thought to my self why would a car worth 1.3K have a window sticker.

When that Maybach owner travels, a Mercedes station wagon should follow carrying luggage and accompanying staff.

My 1994 Q45a came with the service manual housed in the hard shell case, the leather wallet and pen holder, three original keys and two keyless remotes. I also have the original window sticker for it. I think it listed for around $55K.

Not too well now. I had all 4 actuators replaced with new units at 100K. It was like riding on a cloud! I now have a malfunctioning left rear sensor that needs attention. Of course it has the loud groan from the suspension when you go over a speed breaker or bump. I love this car though and would love to be able to buy it all over again.
