Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the battery originally in my 1970 521 pickup? Also, the group size. The battery in my truck seems much taller than it should be.

That's a tough one. I found group sizes 24, 25, 26, and 34 that are supposed to fit that truck. In order of size by L x W x H: 24 - 10-1/4" x 6-13/16" x 8-7/8", 25 - 9-1/16" x 6-7/8" x 8-7/8", 26 - 8-3/16" x 6-13/16" x 7-3/4", 34 - 10-1/4" x 6-13/16" x 7-7/8"
