Is it possible to ask the dealership what color code they used during the repair? You paid for it after all

I am pretty sure it's in one of the spec documents of a new vehicle, or at the very least the dealer should have it noted in the parts list of the repair - either by part number or color code.

Then I'd call a well established paint/body shop or even mobile wheel repair person and ask. They either have a catalog or would know how to find it.

The dealership route was a bust for me. Their bodyshop told me they get all their color codes from the parts dept.

The parts department said they don't repair wheels there, just send them out so they have no idea of how the colors are matched.

They strictly go by part numbers when ordering:
D03001MU9J for gunmetal accessory wheels
D0C001MU4A for the original ones. (YUUUGE price difference btw)
