it says there is a warning light on the instrument panel for dead tail lights. i never seen this!!

Hmmm. I had a brake light go out with no indicator. I'd be curious to know if anyone has had some indication. My owner's manual doesn't mention it and none of the dash indicators are related to the lamps.

Maybe on the Canadian version? My Jeep is Canadian and has some features that the US ones don't

I've never gotten an low fuel light before and it's been on E. When is it supposed to come on? Also we've got a 21.1 gallon tank, anyone know what the reserve is?

I have gotten the low fuel light. It is a small orange bulb located on the fuel gauge. I haven't paid attention to how low it gets when it comes on.

Somewhere around 1/16th - 1/8th of a tank the light goes on.

The tank is 21.1 gallons, but when on E it's only about 18.25. The reserve is ~3 gallons when on E, but also depends on how steep of a grade you're on. That reserve is to make sure if you're going down a really steep hill that you don't starve your fuel pump if you're only at 1/8th of a tank.

(bad post-cat o2 sensor, only for smog and does not affect engine performance)

haha i meant my check engine light doesnt even work. ive had o2 codes for a good year now and never given me any problems, fuel consumptions still awesome and the engine purs...so i dont worry about it. I think the bulb is burnt out but i dont know WHERE the SES light is located on the dash because ive never seen it before

as for the low fuel its got its own bulb, maybe yours is dead

we got MORE snow on tuesday, it pretty much all melted today so i got right to getting all the salt off my q and my WHEELS.

TURTLE WAX RIM CLEANER SPRAY...works wonders. spray it on, leave on 30 seconds, spray off...works surprisingly good on chrome.

Anyways, i ended up REMOVING my blue dash LED's. One burnt out leaving me with no spedo below 80kmh!!!!! I said forget it! got rid of them never again put cheapo led's in such an important spot. they werent that bright anyways only the odometer lit up like a gem, so i kept that. put regular bulbs back. i missed the redline and red needles. I just wasnt feeling the blue, it wasnt bright enough either (pictures brightened it alot) So yeah, maybe ill get better ones but for now, im happy with just blue odometer, looks clean.

I also did my usual interior cleaning, a weekly affair, and added this to the cargo area...



the cargo net is shown in the manual...but i never realized it could be placed right there, just thought it worked where the sub is...wow! so now i can put small items in that net and not mash up my subs. and notice the brochure! tucked the top end underneath the box a bit so it doesnt move around...nice little show piece id say.

I walked in my front door and gazed back at it and wow feels like i got a brand new q aside from the scratches here and there haha

by the way.....we have heated mirrors? WHAAA?? it said so in the features list!!!
