So, I've been thinking of ordering some stuff from NOPI. They've got really good prices on Brembo rotors.

I've heard bad things about their shipping costs and customer service in the past, but haven't really heard much lately.

So, my question is this...has anyone ordered from them lately? Good experience? Bad?

Are they going to make up for the low prices with outrageous shipping charges?

I was wondering the same thing. they sometimes have good prices on stuff and i was thinking about ordering a few items, namely the 5Zigen pedals with adjustable heal/toe (c'mon, i need a little more rice than just the drift wing). i really dont want to start an account with them just to get a few items.

Bumpity-bump. I'm going to check out the shipping issue tomorrow. Anyone else have any NOPI experience they'd like to share?

I'm somewhat skeptical. I have a strange feeling they'll make up for their excellent prices with ridiculous shipping charges. Websites that sell computer stuff do that all the time...

I went into NOPI looking for a MAF adapter for my 89 and the guy was sortof an *** ... he was like "89! Where'd you get that antique?!" "Nobody makes a MAF adapter for one that old, only 91 and up" and I said "No you can get them off ebay , I just didnt want to pay outrageous shipping .. thanks anyway" and walked out.

Other than that the place is a 2F2F store all the way! I walked out thinking... "my god people really do like that crap"

Hey Megaseth, if the shipping is outrageous and you can find their weight ... send me the cash for them and the shipping ...and I'll go to NOPI (not even two blocks from my house) and buy them for you and ship them to you.

The price on the Brembo rotors is really good. The rest of the stuff might be crap, I didn't really look.

Yeah, I got my Brembo rotors from them...the price is really good, I couldn't find them for less (I could barely find them period). I don't like their service too much though. I don't believe shipping was too bad on them, I can't remember for sure though.

I'd say you're alright picking up the rotors from them, they seem to have them in stock consistantly...other stuff they simply have advertised, and never stock, it's rather annoying.

Nopi has gotten really riced out. They didn't used to be this way. I guess they're trying to stay where the money is.

they must be because when i ordered a clutch from them a couple of years ago, the customer service was outstanding.

now that i think about it, their prices were a lot cheaper too.

Mmmmm...grapety grape!

Anyway, I went ahead and ordered some Brembo rotors. No slotting, no crossdrilling...just plain old rotors.

It came to about $120 for all four including shipping. Not bad at all. We'll see if the customer service sucks. One odd thing; the site doesn't list which credit cards they take. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

Got my shiny new rotors today. I never did get a confirmation from NOPI that my order went through, so I emailed them yesterday. They responded that it was sent out on 9/26, and coincidentally UPS stopped by my place today!

It was ~$124 for all four rotors. Shipping was pretty quick, packing was adequate and actually got a quick response on email.

The only downside to the entire thing was that they never sent me a confirmation email that my order went through or my parts shipped.

I have my Russell Speed Bleeders, my Brembo rotors, and I still need my Hawk HPS pads and some Russell stainless steel lines. Add some Valvoline brake DOT 3/DOT4 brake fluid and I'm ready to go!
