Just now getting into the final stages of ordering my CA clip. Ordering it from DDX Drag Drift Autox. Says it'll take 2-7 days to go from WA to FL. Cant wait for it to come in. Just now need to decide if I'd like to install the motor myself with some friends or let the professionals do it....we'll see tho.

its not too hard, just watch out for the wiring, i was unprepared for it and it was a bit of a pain. make sure you get the fsm for the ca and it would help to get one for the ka. get the sr wiring diagrams from heavy throttle, as the ca is wired the same. with some friends and the necessary tools it shouldnt take more than a few weeks at most - unless youre like me and decide to star the swap when its so cold outside that your fingers freeze to the friggin car, then it takes 2 months becuase you have to go inside and warm up every 5 minutes. depending on where in FL you live, you might not have to deal with this though. good luck on the car, itll be a blast. doing it yourself is by far a better choice imho, youll know way more than you ever did about the engine when youre done and it makes fixing stuff a lot easier.

While I do appreciate your offer, I'll have to pass. Atlanta from my house is a good drive. But thanks for the offer.

Jason, where exactly are you in Florida? If you're near Orlando I'll come with some people and help you do it (for free of course...well maybe you can buy me lunch or something;))

Welcome to NICO!:D

I live in Crestview. Its directly off of I-10. Its about a 6 hr drive from orlando. I'd buy breakfast, lunch, and dinner for every day that it takes to put it in. Would be nice if someone with knowledge of putting this in helped out.
