Ordered new tires Kumho SPT

Well its tire time... I have just over 19,000 miles on my 2007 G35 J sedan and the front tires are down to 2/32nd the rears down to 4/23nd.

I stopped into discount and ordered Kumho Ecsta SPT's. I had 258/60/18 Kumho Ecsta STX's on my truck twice and loved them.

The size I bought is 235/45/17 Discount Tire said they could fit 245/50/17's on there which I may go to if I don't like the 235/45/17's.

These tires will be 1" wider and 1" shorter then the current/stock Goodyear RS-a 225/55/17's. I'll post some pics of the shorter fatter tires as soon as they are mounted.

I got the tires for $110 each so they are a good cheaper alternative to the stock Goodyears!

Yeah I wondered how many miles less aggressive drivers were getting out of there Goodyears?

I was very happy to be getting new tires the Goodyears are okay but they do not impress me at all!

gwoods,I've got almost 19k on my wife's G (RS-A) and they are down to 4/32 on the rear and 5-6/32 on the front. I think they've performed pretty good other than the wear. I WON"T be replacing them with the same.

I almost bought Falken's but read a lot of complaints about quick wear. I was getting 15-16k out of my Kumho's on my ram and that was racing on them at the track at least once a month and putting on smoke show at stop lights about once a week LOL

I've got Falken's on my daughter's Max and they ROAR!!!!!!They seem to handle good and I've heard good things about them, but LOUD!!
