Hey guys i just ordered some JVT test pipes. =DD



i'm wondering how difficult it is to install myself or if there is some kinda of guide i could go along with.

I would think it depends on how rusted your system is.I've used PB Blaster recently and it did great!!

Doesn't it come with an installation guide?

If not, I would search here for a DIY write up.

Or, search another vendor's site for an installation guide for their test pipes.

If I were going to do it, I would put it on my rhyno ramps and borrow my neighbors ramps for the back.

probably comes with instructions, i just haven't received then yet.

i'm just wondering if anyone has advice to how hard it is.

Main problem is reaching the bolts that connect to the headers, you need to get them from above using a 2 foot extension, the other is getting the bolts loose, make sure you use a breaker bar.

+1 on using penetrating oil on exhaust bolts. Let it sit for 5-10 min, then try and remove the bolts. It sucks to break bolt-heads...

Is running the G with out Cats really bad for the enviroment? Or Doese the G runn really clean with out the Cats... I know a lot of G owners are going to Test pipes but i think that should be a

I am the last one to recycle and stuff like that but I don't really want to make it any worse than it already is!

Just my .02 no hard feelings!

I just ordered megan racing test pipes as well as their y pipe. your car is gonna smell real bad without a cat, but your gonna notice an improvement in acceleration for sure. Mine's supposed to come in sometime in the next few days.
