Hey sewright, when did you order yours and what exactly are you getting? I ordered mine on June 30th, but I don't think they submitted the order to Nissan until July 9th. They told me first week of September when I ordered it, and they still were saying that last week when we called for an update. So I am keeping my fingers crossed!sewright wrote:Congrats! I got a call today, they are expecting mine tomorrow...maybe (they are never definite...ugh). Good luck to you and everyone else trying to get their cars.
Thanks everyone!!SHIFT_COUPE wrote:Awesome Mike! After your many threads of deliberations. How did you end up getting it and where? Congrats!
I ordered on July 7 and it was submitted on July 9, i believe. Getting any more info has been an exercise in frustration...I ordered a Code Red 3.5/6-speed with the Premium package.ctrlaltcoupe wrote:

My car is on their website search now (meaning they got their invoice) but no truck (Lordstown Ohio where it gets invoiced is just a couple hours from here!!). I hoping for tomorrow so I have it for the holiday weekend. but at this point I'm not counting on anything.
WOW! Thats very unfortunate. . . . We dont live too far from one another. I'm suppose to order mine next week, I found a dealership in Berkley to give me a deal, he told me waiting time would be the first week of November!!! Sucks! But I LOVE this car, just graduated from CSUEB so I've been waiting for the car of my dreams. The first one I EVER saw was acctually in person, at my work. Dropped off for window tint. From then on, I Knew this was my next car!zxe010 wrote:I ordered my A/C on July 1st & was told I would get it end of August. Then I was told it was pushed to October. I love the car but I couldn't wait any longer so I canceled my order. These past few days have been triple digits & I have been driving my dad's truck with no ac. I ended getting a 350z which I do love too!

Not everyone can afford or needs a 3.5. Everyone has reasons for buying the car that he/she chooses to buy.zxe010 wrote:Your A/C does look beautiful but you should have got the 3.5SE
I agree, my reasons for choosing the 2.5 S over the 3.5 SE are:SHIFT_2.5S wrote:

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!!ctrlaltcoupe wrote:

* Better gas mileage* Doesn't need premium gas* $4400 less expensive than the base 3.5SE* My old car was a Honda Civic with a 127 HP 1.7L I-4* Will still be capable of getting me speeding tickets
Good reasons...but the last one... Funny but sooo true!ctrlaltcoupe wrote:

You're all a bunch of rabid anti-2.5-ites!!!!
Wow! What a SMALL WORLD. I happen to work at Auto Sound Specialists in Union City! This is too Funny!!!!! :Weird I'm the Administrative Assistant there!!!! Too funny!zxe010 wrote:Wow November is a long wait but it should be worth it. Unfortunately the heat was too much for me & I do love the 350z. I am originally from the Bay Area, Union City to be exact. I just moved to Tracy 2 years ago. Here is a pic of the 350z. I will be tinting it on Wednesday at Auto Sound Specialist in Union City.
The 2.5 is quick but i havnt really test the true power of it yet. With myself and another, it feels quick, but after the third person in the car, it feels kinda sluggish. But then again, i havnt really pushed the car.mikemart wrote:
hn,
How are you liking the 2.5S? Enough power for everyday (quick) driving? My racing days are over (too many tickets); besides, my new job requires me to drive govt vehicles, so I gotta keep a clean record!
I was looking at the 3.5 but i couldnt find one in Code Red. And the dealership i went to, didnt want to find one for me because they wanted me to buy one from them. I saw a 3.5 in CR but it was a premium and that wasnt in my budget.zxe010 wrote:Your A/C does look beautiful but you should have got the 3.5SE
I will be there, just working for a few hours in the morning.zxe010 wrote:Wow what a small world. Maybe I will see you on Wednesday. I am bringing my baby in at 10am.
Let's just say that if your 2.5S doesn't arrive with at least a 2.5L you will be pissed.mikemart wrote:Congrats on the new car!!! Whats a 2.5L?
