You can do it, just have to be slow and careful and follow the install directions. Would do some form of silicone around the holes you have to drill as well.

If done by a shop, they'll probably look at 1.5-2 hrs labor, so maybe $100 give or take.

I have the sports package, but it was already installed when I bought it.

is there anywhere i can pick up that template? i picked my spoiler up from ebay, and it didn't come with a template.

that honestly makes it seem 20x easier if i can get my hands on that. did you use silicone around the bolts to seal the holes?

Thats a nice price per hour, You'll be lucky here to find any shop working for less then 90$/hour.

and if they charge lower, they just end up charing you for twice as much time so it ends up costing you more then going to a dealer

Sorry for the rant, it just pisses me off.

are you 100% positive you got the OEM? Because it would have come with the template. If you got the wooddashtrim one like me, it is often billed on eBay as the OEM spoiler... pics?

Bulld0g has an actual OEM spoiler... he would know the answer to this. Bulld0g... is the OEM spoiler supposed to be fiberglass or polyurethane?

If it's the latter, what you've got is a fiberglass replica. not OEM so it wouldn't have the template.

Anyway, the template comes in the box with the OEM spoiler as shipped from Nissan. I highly doubt that the template is available separately.

If your spoiler did not come is a Nissan box bearing a Nissan OEM part label and Nissan OEM part number, it is NOT a Nissan OEM part. It's a knockoff.

looking at it closely, it seems like it was removed from another V. so it's probably not new. i only spent 130 shipped, and it was already in the color of my car. i dunno if maybe i could find the measurements of the install points and go from there. i'd rather not pay $100+ for something so simple to install.

Neo... Bulldog says his is polyurethane. The description of your auction said fiberglass. It may or may not have been removed from another V, but that's besides the point... you got yourself a knockoff there.

oh well, knock off or not, it was only 130 bucks and is a stock spoiler (albeit possibly a replica) that was already in the color of my car. i'm more concerned with getting it on there than anything else lol.

bulld0g, if you can find it that would be awesome.

well i went by the dealer today and talked to someone in the parts dept. they said that the templates aren't available seperately and when the technicians install the spoilers, they usually throw them away.
