Orange hose that goes to the manual transmission to where? It looks like a vacuum hose. Has a metal piece with bolt hole and it curves at the end. What is it ? What does it do?

Still no valve cover bolts:( It leaks still with the lowes bolts)

if your saying the rubber hose that is coming out of the transmission, it doesn't go anywhere. that hose is just a breather line.

Yeah, just hold it in place using one of the bolts that connects the transmition to the engine. The top one is what I used. so have the order of the things the bolt goes through be this: hose bracket, transmition, engine.

Thanks,I left it open and bolted to the transmission. I just couldn`t remember what it was for.

It is a vent for when the trans fluid heats up, it allows air to leave the trans. If it were not there, you would lose seals due to the pressure. This happens a lot on the vents on differentials.
