I just would like to say that I went to the International motorcycle show in Balitmore today and the Orange County Choppers was there. They had couple of the bikes that were from the show. They had the Airplane chopper, the commache chopper, and some other cool looking bikes. They also had couple Ducati's there like the 999. Anyone near the B-more area should go, I just wished i brought a camera.

I love that show. Paul senior and junior rock! I love the relationship that whole family has. They bust each other's balls and yell and scream all the time but you can tell they are close.

I was hoping that I could see Paul senior or junior, even Mike. But I didn't see them but I saw some of the other guys that were on the show. But still pretty nice to see them choppers in real life.

Both shows are cool... but you can't even compare the bikes that the two different companies make.

OCC basically assembles bikes made from outsourced parts. Most the frames are just stamped out and pretty much identical. The tanks are all pre-fab, they use bike crate engines... they just bolt everything together and weld some junk onto the bike to fit their "theme"

West Coast makes all their frames, forks, risers, and tanks on sight. Each bike is truly one of a kind. The engines are all custom forged for each one, as are the wheels. Plus Jesse James is more of an artist and his bikes reflect that. He's also much more bad-a$$!!!!

I agree.

My wife and I have gotten addicted to American Chopper.

I love Mikey, Paulie's a weenie, and I'm gonna be Paul Sr. when I "grow up"... :)

To be fair to OCC though, Jesse has a *much* bigger operation than OCC. Having said that, I prefer the WCC bikes to the OCC theme bikes. Not sure if OCC does more "normal" bikes, but I haven't seen 'em.

Mmmmmm...Ducati.

I love discovery channel, monster garage, OCC, myth busters, WCC. They all rule. The history channel is pretty cool too. I guess im a dork for rather watching specials on ancient civilizations then the latest flash in the pot on MTV.

yeah when did occ start using pre-fabbed everything? on the original show (not the on going series) everything they used was custom made. remember the jet bike?

There's a division of Orange County Choppers in Peachtree City (south of Atlanta). Such a weird city, it also has the first Ted's Montana Grill and one of only 3 Famous Fish Company restaurants in the world (the others being in London and South Africa, if I remember correctly). It's also odd to have OCC here because bikes don't seem to fit the very conservative attitude down here. It's cool though, because from time to time I see a new custom bike being driven around.
