Went up to NY for the day. Ended up going to OCC again. American Chopper has been one of my favorite TV shows since I was a kid so it's cool to see their bikes up close. The level of detail is pretty impressive. I suppose I'm getting better at shooting vehicles (especially indoors), but I'm still not exactly proud of this set. Here it is, though.

11. They have a hallway with one-way glass so you can see into the main shop area. Last time I has here, they were building and filming the Schussler Creative bike. No activity this time as it was later in the day. They seem to be building a bike for Grainger Industrial Supply.

12. The Lincoln Bike. One of my favorites.

13. This is the bike that you see Paul Sr. do a burnout on in the opening sequence that they have used for the past two seasons of American Chopper.

14. This is the Jet Bike, the one they built in the pilot episode back in 2002.

18. Paul Jr.'s Dream Bike. Kind of the successor to the Black Widow. This one was difficult to shoot because it's so long.

Can I haz your camera now Otto?

Yeah, you're getting better at vehicles. By far though, your eye is made for nature and abandoned manmade things.

It did, they were thinking of either moving back into the original shop (which was damaged over the winter) or building a new, smaller building on the property in front of their current building. I think they're going to be able to hold on to this building though.

Wow why did it foreclose? I wish I was keeping up with the show and the lawsuit as much as I want to but I catch a show every now and then.

Did you drive down the road to Paul Jr Designs and punch him in the face? His hairline douche beard used to piss me off just looking at it, thank god he lost that look.

I thought the bulk of the bikes they build on the show were for customers, how come it looks like they are at the shop on display?

Great shots Otto, I would love to go there one day. I was cleaning my closet out yesterday and found a framed & autographed pic of them. It was from Bike week down here right after they built the fire bike, so a while ago. I forgot I even had it haha.

Those are some sweet pics. I used to deliver to a glass shop that was across the street from the old shop.

Even saw them in their local coffee shop, didn't want to bother them though, they were just getting breakfast and I know I would be annoyed if someone bothered me first thing in the morning.

Maybe i'll get to the new shop some day... still in Middletown, NY right?

I believe part of the contract is that the bike can be put in their showroom for a period of time. For bikes like the Eragon Bike or the NASA Bike (both were there), I'm assuming the companies don't need or want them anymore.

Thanks. That was probably around 2003. It's impressive how much they've grown.

Where you delivered glass, was it near the original shop or the place by the railroad tracks?

The new place is nearby in Newburgh, NY. You should check it out.

Actually, my bad, it was the glass place near the railroad the tracks. Like a quarter mile down the road from the old shop. Still had to drive by it, like everyday at one point. Been years since I been down there.

Ah, right, I knew it was in Newburgh...my company was delivering the glass for that new shop, I never delivered there though, the glass company had a place where we just stored all the glass for that building.

The Grainger Industrial Supply bike that they were building when I was there is on tonight's episode.

This episode also showcases what a massive tool Jesse James is.
