Hi everyone, new to NICO club (and new to Infiniti) and was wondering if anyone has any pics of a halo light conversion on their M? I am considering the plasma SMD kit by Oracle and wanted to see if anyone has any pics I could use as a "preview?" And if said person would happen to have a video of their install process...well, that would just make my day! Thanks in advance,
Justin

If you look in the FAQ in my sig there is a HowTo on how to open the headlights. As for the halo's themselves, you might be on your own there.

BMW was the first to do this and it became a trademark that identified the BMW brand, so for me, personally, the halos seem out of place on any other car. The other bit is the amount of time, work, and risk involved with adding these to an M. You have to basically remove the entire front end of the car just to get to the headlamp units, then bake the headlamps in an over to pry off the lens. After you add the halos, you have to re-assemble and re-bake, hoping not to leave any leaks that will allow condensation to build up on the inside of the lens. Seems like too much work just for a halo effect, but here is the link to one of a few members who has done it. If you do a search for "halo" you will see others.

The oracle products are s***, stay away. Go to The Retrofit Source. I did these myself, it not that hard, just take your time.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. That's exactly what I was hoping to see- looks great btw, toaster! I also agree that the halo effect is something you would traditionally see on a bimmer, but that isn't reason enough to keep them off my M, right? However, I do agree with the comment (I read on one of these links somewhere) about 8 halos being overkill. I am thinking a setup just like toaster's, or maybe the DRL's and fog lights, only? I will check out the Retrofit resource...I am guessing I will probably find all sorts of ways to spend my hard earned $$'s there. Thanks again!
