So in our crazy search for manufacturers to produce our projectors, I got a hit from a company that seemed to have already develiped something. Now these ARE NOT PROJECTORS. However they do look really cool and a nice alternative for those who do not want to spend the money on new housings or custom fitted projectors.

We were able to make these halos for the Altima:

Now I have already replied asking when this would be available on the site, hopefully soon!

ummm guys, this is a kit, so it does mean opening up your headlights, which is not an easy task. Once you open up your housing you can black out the headlights, remove the amber what ever you like.

man if they went through the trouble of opening up the damn thing and removing the amber, they shoulda just try and added some projectors to that thing. They got the halos already and damn projectors on that thing would look so damn sexy. Also the halos look kinda too big. Shoulda made them a bit smaller. Try emailing them again and ask them if they could make some headlights for us. Send them the link for the projector headlight poll.

Everyone that I contacted got a link to that poll. This is how they responded.

I didnt hear anything from them except EXACTLY what i copy/pasted into that post. SO i have NO OTHER INFO, like i said i emailed them looking for more details, i just wanted to share this news with the rest of the community.

Also, I have no idea if that is photoshop'd or not, they sent me that pic with the email, i did not photoshop or develop ANY of those pictures. None of it is installed on my car. they are ONLY pictures sent to me by this manufacturer.

Sorry if I am missing some thing here but the original post says these are not replacement housings. So isn't this a kit you order, then you open up your headlights and install???

So if you cannot open the headlights, doesn't that mean you need some one to custom open your headlights??

we are all missing alot of details on this, like i said before, twice now, i pasted EXACTLY what was sent to me in response for a request for projectors.

I dont know what the install process will be.

I dont know why they didnt produce new light housings.

THIS IS ALL I GOT. I WAS JUST TRYING TO KEEP THE COMMUNITY INFORMED.

sorry I wasn't referring to you, people are like they removed the reflector, if this is a kit, where you have to open the headlights, then you can remove the reflector, put in projectors. I think a few folks are over-reacting to this news, without realizing what the company is offering.

no big deal, that was a stressful day i proly over reacted. i just didnt have any further info to share =(

but anyway, i got a reply from that same company, here it is:We are just finishing up the installation guide for the DIY installers and we will then post them on our website. We have about 15 kits available now and will have many more in the coming weeks. -Justin M. Hartenstein

I will keep this thread updated, hopefully they come up with a link soon.

And i also agree with most comments made, this should have been developed to be a bit easier of an install, or not made at all. I dont think many people are going to drop much money on a part they need to have professionally installed like this when it is at best a minimal cosmetic upgrade to the headlights. But who knows, if they are the right price, it may be worth it for those who do not want to buy all new housings etc.
