I recently purchased a CA18DET swap, but somewhere in shipment(I'm giving the seller the benefit of the doubt), some important pieces were lost. Probably the most crucial(and difficult to replace) of was the flywheel. If anyone out there has a spare lying around, along with the bolts, PLEASE get ahold of me; this is stuffing up my swap. Thank you!

P.S. A CA bellhousing or complete CA18det 5spd would be awesome to come up with, as well!

I have all of the things you mentioned, but shipping is going to be a b****. I am quite literally the other corner of the country, and that transmission isn't really going to fit in a box. I am also residential. Ill look into what kind of shape my extra flywheel is in and get back to you.

Hey sweet; that'd be nice if you were right down the street, but sometimes you get what you get. As far as the trans, that's ok. I secured a 71b from a CA18et last night, so at the very least I have the bellhousing to swap onto a C. The flywheel and bolts, however, I still require. Thank you for your response!

If any parts store near you can get ARPs, just order 2 packs of ford pinto bolts. That's what I did. Carquest got them to me the next day

Yea, Ford Pinto bolts are the same diameter, thread pitch, and length. You need 2 sets though because the Pinto is a 6 bolt, and the CA is an 8 bolt, so you need 2 sets and will have 4 left over.

That's what we're here for :bigthumb:

Those are one of the things you should buy new. I had a used one snap on me at like 5 ft lbs once. Not fun.

I have a flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. Was custom built to handle 400wph, good pedal feel. PM me if you're interested.

Also may be in need of an Ignitor.. the guy I bought the engine set from forgot to include it and I can't get ahold of him..

Does anyone have any way other than PM to get ahold of r34 qtr? Seems like he doesn't log on here much as of late. Thanks!
