so I can tell the spring in my TB is wearing out as it isnt recoiling all the way..... which is very annoying and killing my MPG.

just swapping a KA24DE TB will work without modifying the manifold? I really dont want to modify the manifold...... what do I do about the TPS? are the the same? do I splice?

I had some down time and we reworked all the IC piping. suprize.... I opened up a bit more power(not a shock, it was ghetto as hell).

I hard wired the AC compressor(now I need to charge it)..... trying to decide if I want to R134 it or find some R12(or substitue)

I also replaced the gasket on my gas tank. now that I will be able to drive with windows up..... I wont be intoxicating myself either. much better

soon as my CCs get cleaned up some sick wheels and paint are in my future

Nope, the opening in the TB is too small and will need ground out. Sorry Gabby...

I though the KA TB was larger than the CA and the CA mani was what needed to be modified... not the KA TB?

according to yoru FAQ that was the way I understood it anyway.

looks like I have some grinding in my future.

Yea, the TB opening on the manifold is too small and needs ground out.

I don't remember for sure if they are the same, but I would be suprised if they weren't.

yea its not to hard i have it on my ca, i bolted on the KA tb, i think it mounts upside down, and then cap the coolent feed and return, swap the ka throttle pully for the ca one, i did this using washers since the ka uses a dual sprung pully vs the single ca tb pully. then i marked the intake manifold, took it apart and then die grinded the intake manifold to match the larger tb. Slap the tb gasket on and then tighten the 4 allen bolts down, and connect your intercooler pipe, reconnect the tb cable and done. And yes the TPS is the same.
