I was wondering what affordable turbo replacement options there are for the CA. Not exactly looking to spend a grand on a custom manifold and another grand on the turbo...

What turbo's will bolt directly on to the stock manifold? Are there any upgrades that dont require a new manifold? Is there a company that makes manifolds for CA's other than custom ones and SSautochrome?

My power goals are around 250whp. How high could an SR t25 take me?

Thanks for the help

If you want 250WHP, you need to get yourself a T28, depending on the $$ , you can either get it Ball bearing or regular t28.Here are some of the turbos you can use on your normal T25 manifold

SR T25SR T28GT2530GT2830GT28RGT28RS

You can find some of those on ebay, but I personally don't trust ebays used turbos as I have seen couple of my friends buying them just to find out the turbos are completely shot.I have seen couple website.http://www.cheapturbos.comhttp://www.at ... Personally, I haven't bought any thing from the above websites, but they seem pretty good.

Good luck,PULSAR GTRRafi

which would you recomend for the best 'bang for the buck?'

seems like the sr t28 would be easiest to come by would it not?

Chances that you will find an SR T28 is much higher than finding any of the others .

Just make sure you ask whether the SR t28 turbo is Ball bearing or not, it is prefered to have ball bearing since it will reduce the lag alot.

Check ebay or any other stores and compare prices, don't rush into it, just shop around and try and get a good deal.

If you are buying a T28 from ebay and the seller is from Australia, make sure to ask him if it is BB turbo, as 95% of the T28 turbos that made it to Australia weren't Ball bearing.

Thanks, thats just what I'm looking for...

I'm waiting for a rather large check to come from tax returns, and I'll be doing my shopping untill then.
