Hey guys, ive noticed that alot of ppl on here are from the east coast but even if you live on the east or west or where ever has anyone gotten a front clip from them. Im getting ready to dump the crappy truck motor within a month or so, still short like a grand but anyhow anyone ever get one from them. Also dont make fun of me cuz its probably been posted for months or so but since im getting ready for the sr swap im going to get a koyo radiator next thurs (payday ) so do i have to get a koyo radiator for the sr or can i get one for the ka and then use for the sr seeing how im still driving the ka24de. Thanks guys

you have to get a sr one... unless you want to run hoses to the opposite side....

Actually, they are both truck motors. I just thought you should know.

help me understand, i thought sr20det RWD only came in S chasis cars. and a AWD version in the GTIR. and sure as hell i did not see any sr20det powered trucks when i was scouring the junk yards of japan and asking which cars come with that engine. but this was all back in 2000 so update me please.

Its all in the design of the motor. I would infact use the search button as this topic has been discussed before on this forum.

Just search for "SR20" and "truck motor", it will come up.

Im not saying the motor is crap or anything, its just something that has com up in the past. Dont get upset.

Is the option imports in California? I didn't know they sell motors.

option imports has ****ty customer service btw. When I say ****ty I ordered stuff from them and I never got ahold of them even thoughi tried calling every single week.. I placed my order on may 5th, I just got it This tuesday. june 7th

Optionimports has a history of late deliveries ( the above being the fastest I had heard of them) and deliveries of wrong stuff with slow substition of the right stuff ( months).
