Hi everyone,
I've been looking for a stock brake replacement but seem to have some trouble with making a final decision
Currently I have a 200sx s13 ca18det (European version of the 240sx) with ABS, 4 lugs and stock 10'' front & rear rotors with single piston calipers (a bit bigger than the US version, but smaller than z32's).
What I currently want to do:
1. Install a 300zx 15/16 MBC (from what I understood, 15/16 is good for upgrading the front, w/o any major rear modification );
2. Install 300zx 30mm front calipers;
3. Install 4 lug front 30mm rotors (it says here that sentra se-r spec v will fit - http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/N...ors_4 );
4. Leave the existing handbrake;
5. Install bigger rear calipers (probably with a bracket...most likely this kit - http://www.phase2motortrend.com/stkrebrstupk.html ....but it seems a bit expensive?).
My questions are:
1. Will this be a good/worthy setup?2. My ABS is broken, so do I need any special rotors or not?3. Are there any NOT re-drilled 4 lug 30mm rotors for the z32 calipers?4. Anything else possible with the rear brakes upgrade?
Or should I just forget this idea, go 5-lug and swap in front 350z track edition rotors? Or perhaps a Q45 setup (2 piston comparing to 4 piston z32)?
