I know this has probably asked before but would a optima redtop battery fit my 08 Altima coupe 3.5 se without modification

Optima redtops are for any car.

Yeah you just have to be sure you get the proper Optima size, which I believe is a 35C? I could have totaly made that up though, check their website.

I put one in about a week ago.

I don't know if there are different sizes or not. I used to sell them and don't recall size variants, but it's been awhile. Anyways the battery isn't quite as tall as a normal battery so I just cut out a piece of plastic I had laying around my shop so it would snug up to the bracket that holds it in place. The terminal cables also had to be released from being tied onto the bracket that holds the battery in as well.

It's pretty easy with a few minor adjustments. Took me about 20-30 minutes.

Sorry, size wasnt necessarily the proper word. Series might have been a better term, and the one you need is 35.
