i emailed the seller a few questions this is his reply.

it doesn't have lsd, there's about 58k on the s13 red top sr20det, almost 20k since the swap about 1.5 years ago, no rust the car is from down south, it does have a salvaged title though. The floor shows no signs of flood damage. The body is in great condition I worked in detail up to about 3 weeks ago for 3 years so I keep my cars very clean.

i was thinking that 11000 was a bit much. any other questions i should ask before going to look at it? any opions on price would be apperciated.

what is lsd?

The only thing I would be worried about is did they take any short cuts when the did the swap. I dont buy a car unless I see it in person...

The salvage title concerns me. What happened to the car? Also, keep in mind that some insurers won't want to cover a car that has a salvage title. Did you do a Carfax on it?

Edit: As the other poster mentioned, you don't know if the swap was done by a competent shop. Maybe found out where he had it done and see if you can find out if their work is decent.

My car is salvage and my ins. is keeping mine. But i got a really good ins. comp. It sounds good to me but DO NOT BUY without pictures.

no carfax yet, but i was a little worried about the salvage title, as well as the whole red top in the s14 part. it may not be a big deal im just not as familar with it.

the car is like 14 miles away so i could go test drive it and everything, i was just getting some oppions first.

Hehe...yeah, I think it's got something to do with turning the vehicle, ya know like on the curvy roads. Just kidding, man.

I wouldn't get hung up on not having a VLSD (Viscous Limited Slip Differential) as you can pick up a superior unit aftermarket, or even get a used VLSD from a junkyard, private seller, etc.

Anyway, like I said before and Mustangman said...make sure the swap isn't a hack job. It would majorly suck to get the car and then have to find a competent shop to fix a butchered swap.

I know what that is! V6's have open differentials... we do cool one wheely burn outs :ylsuper

I was just kiddin with ya man. kid line (you started it)lolI just thought you didnt since you asked what it was. If oyu put enough torque behind it both will turn. I have an open on my 240 and both turn. Of course 240s are better than musthangs.

vlsd is garbage it's just a waste of money

whats a mustang? ... just kiddin ... get a carfax take a testdrive let it idle listen to it drive it with the radio off hehe ... jerk it around a bit listen to the suspension and if nothing breaks on your lil test drive lol .. and ur happy with it buy it .. im sure there will be some insurances that will cover it ..
