Opion n form service from Nissan auto dealers on 350z

Hello All,

I have recently be come a owner of 2004 305z roadster in April of this year. I still cant believe that I have to pinch my self every time I drive this machine.

I would like to get your opion on receving service work from the my car dealer that I bouth the car from. My frist two vists were for lof with nothing to realy talk about.

But on my last vist for a lof they asked if I would like to have a 25k check up done on the Z I am only at around 23k. Also I asked about geting the coolent in the raidator checked because I will not be in a heat garage for my winter storage.

The lof was done an wind shield washer fluid was added. The list of items that they said they would check was long. So I picked three things to ask them about. the frist was the battery levels and terminals, Second was the engine air filter, thrid was the condition of the readator collent.

The service rep said that if the repair teck. did not write any thing down I had no worrys. When I pressed the service futher he became more weak. I ask to speak to the teck that chech my Z I asked him if he had check the engine air filter that was on the list of litems to be checked.

My Z has the Nismo after market in take so the filter is berried behind the front leftwheel area. So the teck never laid eyes on it. He grabed a flash light to try to check it out. Can some one confrim for me that this filter sould be incased some how I have not seen it yet? Also on futher questioning they never made a record of the condition of collent. They brough out the hydro gauge and did it in front of me.

I dont mean to carry on here like this just seeking every ones opion on dealer relatd service.
