So I have an 07 g35 coupe that is LP. I am thinking about getting these fenders:

I was thinking of painting them of course lp but in the side vents fading it from flat black to lp to match my grille spoiler and headlights...what do you think stay all lp or fade it...if anyone is good at photoshop can they maybe hook it up and photoshop what the fade would look like...I am iffy about em tho...what do you think

Personally, I like the smooth fenders...but with a matching body kit, it might look good.

Nope. Not my personal taste. If your "iffy" about them...then you don't like them and may have regret.

I don't feel the love. It would make your car harder to wash too.

You'll probably be very hard pressed to get a body shop to fade IP to Black.

The IP is a 3 stage paint IIRC. It's the primer, 1 or 2 shots of "Ivory", then 3 shots of Clear/Pearl. Significantly more expensive than just a regular clear coat like on the other colors.

The Matte Black cannot be sanded, buffed, or refinished in any way except resprayed. So if the fade wasn't perfect, they'd have to start over again. You'd also likely get matte with glossy clear coat "splatter" or vice versa.

The fenders are alright. I agree that it needs a matching body kit OR door treatments (haven't seen any). Wheels are UGLY!

I'm thinking the fender might look better on a darker car too.

I don't love them. Heck, I don't even like them a little.
