What are your opinions on these? The RE950s come highly recommended from a few NICO members but I've always liked Yoks. Another thing is that the Yoks seem the better bang for the buck.

The dunlops that came on my car are dagerously worn out. Therefore I need new shoes before the winter snows come.

Here are pics of my current wheels http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=93521

Hey grant from tirerack, contact me at [email protected] cause I also need new dust boots for the car.

I have the RE950's because it rains a lot where I live. They are excellent for wet traction and great for dry traction. I only read they are good up to 3 inches of snow, but I do not know first hand about it.

No experience on the Yokohama's, but if it snow's a lot in your area, wouldn't good snow tires be a good choice for your car, if not another car to drive during winter so your beautiful car will not suffer salt damage : P

RE950's rule. I've driven them first hand in the snow, they're really only good for up to 3' really. Another thing you'd like to compare between the two: treadwear, the re950's are a healthy 400. I don't know about the Yoko's though. I'd seriously consider getting steelies and throwing some blizzak tires on them for this winter.

edit: you'll get more replies in the tire/wheel forum
